eBay Watch: Movies Rule
This week the eBay Stores team added some new options to the promotion boxes, used to announce deals to prospective buyers. The interface was changed to make it easier to set up the boxes and two new types were added. One is a slideshow that cycles through Gallery pictures of your selected listings, and the other is a countdown box that ticks off the time remaining for a listing. On April 4th, eBay formally retired the original version of its Turbo Lister. Sellers are encouraged to download the latest version containing more features and time-saving tools. Details on the upgraded version can be found here. Meanwhile, the Seller's Assistant products have been replaced with the Blackthorne product line. Blackthorne Pro is available for a monthly subscription fee of $24.99 and supports multiple users, consignment plans, supplier tracking and more.
Decline in CD sales in the US has long-range effects
The 19-year-old summed up the plight of record companies in a matter of seconds. "I'm going to be honest," said Ashlee Robinson, 19, of Martinsburg, W.Va. "I haven't bought a CD in like two and a half years. I hardly ever buy CDs. I have an iPod." Robinson isn't the only music fan not buying CDs. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that U.S. sales of music CDs plummeted 20 percent in the first three months of 2007, compared with the same period last year. CDs still account for more than 85 percent of music sold, but the trend of decline in CD sales is significant, and record companies themselves share in the blame, according to the young, MP3-player toting consumers who are getting their music online - both legally and illegally.
Final Fantasy XIII Franchise To Last For A decade. At Least.
Square Enix has big plans for its Final Fantasy XIII franchise. In a recent interview, Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto confessed that the FFXIII should be a gaming gem for around 10 years. The producer unveiled its plans in an interview for Nintendo Dream, translated by IGN:"Different from something like VII, which we expanded upon afterwards, with Fabula Nova Crystallis FFXIII, we've thought about an expansive world setting from the start. Under the idea of wanting everyone to be sucked into the world for 10 years, we're preparing a number of categories." Expanding the Final Fantasy XIII on multiple platforms and for some years to come was an expected move. Square Enix had already taste success when doing the same thing with Final Fantasy VII.However, stretching Final Fantasy XIII for a decade seems a bit too much and nobody should be amazed if players begin getting bored of the whole thing altogether.

Guest host Roland Martin, sitting in for Larry King, said : "Since we're in the midst of the holy season, we want to know, do American Christians walk the walk or just talk the talk ?
