It's not often we discuss matters of fashion here (consider this, Sunday fluff), but having returned from Sydney with a rather swanky new pair of sneakers, I couldn't help but share some of the online sites and locations where sneaker lovers (don't ask how many pairs I have) and the fashionably conscious can indulge in their vices. I have, for the past few weeks, trolled around the web and found some great sites that not only share new styles and updates, but ultimately provide immediate eye-candy for those in need of either new threads, or shoes. But before we go on, let me just say that over the years, I've spent a great deal of change on sneakers ranging from big name brands, to more obscure ones- in all different styles and colors. Only recently have I finally found a brand which I'm 100% totally satisfied and comfortable with- Macbeth shoes (the Aston Martin of youth-oriented shoes).

Macadamia nuts are one of my favorite foods for providing health-enhancing oils. They're rich in monounsaturated fats and contain many other phytonutrients that contribute to human health. I think that eating handful of macadamia nuts a day is a great way to control blood sugar, satiate your appetite and boost your nutrition.
One of the best regions in the world in which to grow macadamia nuts is Hawaii, but the industry there is about to be devastated, and in another five years it may not exist at anywhere near the same level it does today. Sadly, thousands of acres of macadamia nut trees, along with the farmers who tend them, could be economically wiped out. Given that macadamia nut trees take about seven years to produce their very first nut and 15 years to reach maturity, this is not an industry that can recover overnight.
How to crack the problem of internet password security
It's a good bet that if you have 20 online accounts, you don't have 20 different passwords. In fact, according to a survey by Kaspersky Lab, most people (51% of us) only have between one and four passwords for 20 accounts. We are insecure. But recent developments mean we could be more secure in the near future. While it's almost impossible to change people's behaviour, it's not too hard to fix the system so that only one to four passwords are actually needed. For example, you could get people to sign on to single service, and then ask other online services to consult that before letting you in. That way, you can safely use one password for 20 different accounts, because 19 of them don't know what the password is. .

Tough message for would-be innovators
Good luck to the hundreds of businesspeople who returned to work this week with new tools for making their companies more innovative. Many of them will fail, despite the techniques, insights and inspirations they gained at last week's World Innovation Forum in Newport Beach. That's because a paradox was at the heart of that innovation conference. With its $2,500 admission charge and big-ticket celebrity speakers, many in its audience were executives from big companies such as Boeing, Allergan and Toshiba. But it's rare for big, established companies to succeed when a lower-cost, disruptive technology comes around. What those companies are good at is gradually improving their existing technologies and making so-called "sustaining innovations" until their products have more features than customers want, said conference speaker Clayton Christensen, a business strategist, author and Harvard Business School professor.
